What is Nadcap?

Nadcap is the audit and recognition program for the guarantee of quality and the special process. It was developed by PRI(Performance Review Institute) which the aircraft maker(Boeing, Airbus, Rolls Royce, GE and so on) and the aircraft parts maker managed.
When the operation started in 1990, the target of this program was only American aircraft makers. But, recently, European makers(in 2000) and Asian makers(in 2004) added. Now it is the only unified recognition program in the world and the recognition is indispensable for being involved in the production, including the special process, of aerospace products.
